Nayanaa Kanodia, an economist turned painter, is a pioneering figure in L’Art Naïf in India. A brilliant colourist with a unique voice, her whimsical, detail-rich works have earned international acclaim. She has held numerous exhibitions in India and abroad, with her art in major corporate and private collections worldwide. Her paintings are permanently displayed at the Musée International d’Art Naïf in Paris, and she has demonstrated her techniques at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum. Nayanaa was the first Indian artist selected by Paintings in Hospitals, UK, and featured in the international book Women in Art by Reinhard Fuchs. She was chosen for a solo show by the Commonwealth Secretariat in London and is used as a teaching tool in schools in the U.S. Recently appointed a juror for the Prisma Art Prize in Rome, she is the first Indian on their panel. Deeply committed to art education and social impact, her work blends vibrant satire with profound societal themes.
