About Gopinath Subbanna
Gopinath S is a Bachelors in Fine Arts from Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore with a specialization in sculpture design. He also holds a diploma and a masters in sculpture from Maharaja Sayyaji Rao University, Baroda and Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore respectively. Subbanna has participated in several art projects, symposiums and exhibitions both in India and abroad including Maldives, Egypt, U.S.A, China and South Korea. His works have been displayed in several prominent art galleries has participated in several group shows. He has also organised large scale sculpture displays for prominent art collections such as Sangita Jindal Foundation for Arts, Baldota Collection and Uttarayan Art Foundation, India. He has played a pivotal role and has helped immensely in the creation of Sculpture Park Project by Bangalore Development Authority, Bangalore. His art works are placed in prestigious collections and is patronized by eminent art collectors such as Sangita Jindal, Harsh Goenka, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Birla Arts Trust, Lavina Baldota, Rakesh Agarva, Ravi Kavale, HMV India, Parachute India Ltd, ITC, Uttarayan Art Foundation, Lalith Kala Academy, Shilpa Kala Academy India, Clayarch Gimhae Museum, South Korea, Sculpture Park, Tong-ling City, Huai'an City China, and other several private collections.
